  • Condition: Has some wear to the gilding. A section of the edge of the inkwell has been broken out at one time, repaired and overpainted. The finial on the lid has also been repaired.

    Antique porcelain inkwell. The lid and inkwell are decorated with a band of green and gold leaves. The inkwell has a band of hand painted beads above an below. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked with a gold star used by Ginori. The mark is post 1820. This was probably made around 1830 to 1840s.
    Has some wear to the gilding. A section of the edge of the inkwell has been broken out at one time, repaired and overpainted. The finial on the lid has also been repaired.
    Measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide x 2 inches tall.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
