Baby Rescue Bag
Intended Use:
Is not intended to replace the traditional, more important safety techniques in fires such as fire drills, emergency exit plans, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. BABYRESCUE should only be used to lower a baby/child from an upper floor window or balcony to safety when other means of escape are not available.
IMPORTANT
The BABYRESCUE bag is not heat or fire resistant, is only fire retardant, so you cannot use if you need to lower the baby/child near or through flames.
Do not use for baby/child that is more than 75 lbs or taller than 28 inches.
The webbing (safety lowering line) is aprox 60 feet  long. Estimate the distance from your location to a safe landing (the ground or where rescue personnel are located) and do not use if you cannot safely lower your baby/child to that safe landing. Usually 5 stories or less.
Storage:
BABYRESCUE has been carefully assembled so that it will properly deploy when needed. Do not store in direct sunlight, a damp environment or high temperatures.
Prepare an escape plan and practice the plan. Store it near the window.
USE
In the event of fire or smoke call 911, bring baby or child into the room where you need to lower them to safety and close the door before opening the window.
Remove rescue bag and webbing from outer bag. Open rescue bag and place child inside.
Comply with weight and height restrictions.
Completely close drawstring at top of bag and fasten safety clip. BABY can fall out if this is not done.
Remove webbing from packing and uncoil. Make sure webbing is not tangled and is attached to BABYRESCUE.
While holding onto webbing lower the bag hand over hand from the window to balcony to a safe landing.
