Troopers ask for assistance finding missing parolee who’s possibly in Syracuse

Syracuse, N.Y. — Troopers are looking for a 32-year-old man out on parole who was last seen more than three months ago.
Brandon Hatton, of Oneida County, was reported missing by a family member on Saturday, troopers said in a news release Tuesday.
Hatton was last seen late July at Insight House Rehabilitation Center at 500 Whitesboro St. in Utica, police said. Hatton has an active warrant through State Parole unit. Hatton voluntarily checked himself out of the center, which violates a court order, troopers said.
He is believed to be somewhere in Syracuse, they said.
Hatton is 5 feet, 8 inches about 170 pounds, with light brown hair and hazel eyes. He also goes by the last name “Hubbard,” troopers said.
Hatton was released from prison on parole for criminal possession of stolen property in November 2023, according to state parole records. His current parole status is “absconded.”
Troopers ask anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Hatton to call the State Police at 315-366-6000 and reference the case number NY2400850683.
